Biodynamics Practicum - Understanding Neutral

taught by Andraly Horn and Bill Harvey

Thursday-Friday, October 4-5, 2018  •  Saratoga Springs, NY

Open to graduates and students of Turtle Back/Margery Chessare, Michael Shea, Bill Harvey and Andraly Horn

We’ve arrived at a level of proficiency with our work where we can make something happen for the client regardless of whether is it the most therapeutic process in that moment.  The truth remains, however, that unless the client fully surrenders to the biodynamic process, unless we can perceive a state of Neutral, our work is potentially superficial. This workshop will focus on our awareness of the interaction of respiratory breathing and Primary Respiration on three of our main diaphragms, the thoracic inlet, respiratory diaphragm and the pelvic floor. This awareness will act as our vehicle for knowing and deepening our access to the state of Neutral as a therapeutic agent. From that point we will wait and watch for the therapeutic priority of Primary Respiration to emerge and cooperate with it completely. We will also enumerate and fine-tune our skills while observing the effects of PR on the diaphragms.
To facilitate these explorations, Bill Harvey, Advanced Rolfer, BCST, and Andraly Horn, LMT, BS, BCST, both certified by Michael Shea, are coming together to share the benefits of many decades of practice. Andraly will offer approaches that help him get into deeper and deeper states of Neutral and Transparency.  Bill will teach breathing techniques and mudras to deepen self-awareness and facilitate quicker access to Neutral with our clients.
